Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July, 1991 in Canada is an Canadian actor who is best known for playing Felicity Smoak in The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born in British Columbia. Starting her professional path as a child, she introduced herself to musical theatre and dance, with the hope of later taking on more serious acting. She completed her Acting Essentials Program at the Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. After she completed the program it was time to attend an audition for open casting and was signed. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Her chemistry was with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and the sarcastic comments she made led to an initial signing for a single episode guest star.
